Today, Y6 had an 'Anti-Gang Workshop' run by a charity called Prevent 2 Protect. Within the session, children learned all about the dangers of gangs and criminal activity, including how young people are susceptible to this with the rise of social media and technology. The children also participated in a boot-camp activity, where they were taught about discipline and leading healthy lifestyles.
The children loved the sessions, saying that they were 'inspired' by the people running it. Some said that the boot camp was the 'best activity we've done' but were exhausted afterwards!
Thank you to the charity for coming in and delivering the session - the children had a brilliant time.
