Another week has flown by! We really appreciate all the hard work from the community to make events like the Macmillan Coffee Morning go ahead, and the amount of cakes donated was incredible. You can read more about the event here. We also hosted our very first 'Big Play Day' and the children were thrilled to take part in so many amazing activities, along with Bikeability for our Y4 children.
And of course, a huge thank you to all the parents and carers who came to support your children at the first Parent/Carer evening of the year; it was a superb atmosphere around the school full of so many positive comments about how your children have settled into this new academic year.

Headteacher's Awards
This week, the winners of the Headteacher's Awards have been given to the following children:
Y6P - Menaal H - For working hard in every lesson, showing great resilience and determination during PGL and always being a kind and caring friend; a delight to have in class!
Y6B - Noor H - For brilliant manners, behaviour and attitude all week - it has been a pleasure to teach him!
Y5H - Ismail A - For his fantastic attitude and behaviour this week! Ismail has been focused, hardworking and resilient - all the qualities of a superb member of 5H.
Y5W - Elnathan O - He stands out for his sensible attitude and his organisation skills as one of our class laptop monitors. He always ensures the equipment is tidy and in its right place for quick and easy access.
Y4AT - Elena H - For always being a hard working role model. She tries her best, is polite, and embodies all of our school values.
