Each of our House Teams are based on key words from our Mission Statement and represent the values we instil in our children through our work at school every day.
They are also linked to 4 historical figures within our curriculum:
- Ambition – Stormzy – UK Grime artist who campaigns for racial equality in education, funding scholarships for black students at university.
- Inspire – Abida Parveen – Known as the 'Queen of Sufi music', and rated as one of the top 500 most influential Muslims of all time.
- Resilience – Ludwig van Beethoven – Known for his inspirational classical music, composing most of his best pieces whilst being deaf.
- Respect – Nina Simone – An influential artist with no specific genre, who fought for racial equality in America.
