We recommend that all clothing has your child's name in it. If you require name labels, please follow this link to purchase labels that can stick on with no need for sewing or ironing.
Students wearing the school uniform should remember they are representing the school at all times.
School uniform with the Devonshire Road logo can be purchased via SMART Clothing - a link to the Devonshire Road Primary School SMART Clothing page can be found here. However, to minimise the cost of uniform, we encourage families to purchase items that are non-branded; these items of clothing can be purchased from high street stores, such as supermarkets – this could include, for example, shirts, trousers, and royal blue jumpers. This is in-line with the DfE's guidance for school uniforms.
There are no compulsory branded items that are required at Devonshire Road Primary School.
The school does not sell second-hand uniform directly. However, it might be possible to find second hand uniform in local charity shops; we also hold 'Uniform Swap Shops' where you can donate and take second hand uniform. Please speak to the office if you have any questions about uniform, including if you need support with purchasing/sourcing uniform.
