Y4 went on their first trip of the year to Burrs Country Park to explore the flow of water and investigating the water cycle in more detail. The children loved the activities, especially throwing apples into the river and timing how quickly they travelled. The children spoke about water safety as well, understanding how dangerous open water can be when it is not treated with awareness and respect.
One of the children said, "I loved exploring, and we even got to go on the park at the end!"
Another child said, "I couldn't believe how fast the water was going. It was because of all the rain."
