What a busy, busy week it has been! Thank you once again for all your hard work with your children; we have loved having them back at school. And a huge welcome to our newest members of our school community - our EYFS children in Reception! They have settled in wonderfully well and we cannot wait to see them grow and flourish.
With our first full week of school complete, we wanted to share our weekly celebrations with you in our new format.
Headteacher's Awards
This week, the winners of the Headteacher's Awards have been given to the following children:
Y6P - Hashim A - For a very positive start to the school year, answering lots of questions and remembering lots of facts from last year to help him with his learning in Year 6.
Y6B - Safa M - For showing great enthusiasm in each lesson, participating well with others and portraying the behaviours of an excellent role model
Y5H - Furqan - For his unbelievable confidence in every subject this week! You are a little superstar, Furqan!
Y5W - Kaitlin - For settling in well in Year 5. She is a wonderful role model, displaying good manners throughout the day, often wishing me 'good morning' and 'have a nice lunch'. She is challenging herself in her lessons and works hard in everything that she does.
Y4AT - Hamdi - For super effort and focus in all of his learning. What a super start to Year 4!
Y4R - Abdul-M - For trying his best in every lesson and his excellent manners.
Y3A - Fatima M-G - For her wonderful neat handwriting and writing some great sentences.
Y3B - Minaal - For having such a conscientious attitude to learning- particularly your handwriting.
Y2C - Chidubem - For sharing his imaginative ideas in English
Y2F - Diyanshi - For making an amazing start to Year 2, coming in to school every day with a big smile and being ready for learning.
Y1D - Eshaal - For making a fantastic start to Year 1! You have worked really hard during your challenges, shown great determination and always tried your best. We are very proud of you - keep it up!
Y1L - Tayyab - For showing an amazing eagerness to learn this week! Keep up the amazing hard work.
YRHC - Ellie - For fantastic counting skills - well done Ellie!
YRHS - Pearl - For being a kind friend to others and for always being ready to learn.
