Tai Chi the grandfather of martial arts is performed with slow graceful movements developing coordination, balance, flexibility and strength. Students will get a chance to learn a simple tai chi form.

 

Tai Chi is a series of flowing movements combined with breathing techniques to bring about better posture, improved focus, calming the mind, breathing deeper. Inspired by the martial arts and descended from a practice called Qigong in ancient China, Tai Chi is practiced by school children daily in groups to improve relationships, learning, group interaction working to create a diverse and inclusive learning atmosphere in a fun way.
