The aim of the day/week is to empower the children and let them take an active role in improving our school grounds and environment.
The school's Eco Council have met and as a school we are planning to:
1. Transform the planters and the surrounding area by litter picking and refreshing the planters with stencils and paint.
2. Reintroduce and launch recycling bins with a particular focus on recycling paper!
Also;
The KS2 Eco Council will be participating in a community litter pick with six others schools & we have VR Eco Workshops for Y6, Y5, Y4 and the Eco Council/ School Council in KS1.
