From the 7th November, we will be recognising National Anti-bullying week 2022.   Throughout the week, children will be developing their understanding of how to be a good friend, learning about what to do when someone is being deliberately unkind and also celebrating all of the kindness that is shown in our school each day.

There will be lots of activities going on in school including:

  • Monday 7th November: everyone is encouraged to come wearing "odd" clothes.  We do this to show that everyone is different, and that is brilliant - it is something to be celebrated!
  • Monday 7th November: special antibullying whole school assembly
  • Wednesday 9th November: our Peer Mentors are being trained about antibullying strategies by KidScape.
  • Friday 11th November: Friendship Friday; a day celebrating all the wonderful friends we have in school.
  • Wednesday 16th November: our Peer Mentors will be at the parent/carer "Coffee and Conversation" morning to talk to you about all they have learnt in their training.

Every child will also come home with a special Antibullying Alliance band at some point in the week.
