As part of our R.E. Curriculum, Year 3 will be visiting ‘Whitefield Synagogue’ to support the unit of work ‘How do festivals and family life show what matters to Jews?’
During the visit the children will:
• Be looking inside the synagogue at the different artefacts and symbols
• Be talking about what a synagogue is and what services happen inside it
• The children will get the opportunity to ask any questions about how Jewish people worship and think about similarities or differences to other places of worship.
