Aims/outcomes of Bounce Back

Bounce Back aims to support children and young people with their mental health and emotional wellbeing - helping children to understand their thoughts and feelings, how they got to those feelings and things they can change to make their feelings more positive.

By the end of the 2-week programme, (2 x 1-hour sessions) children and young people will:

  • have greater understanding about the connection of thoughts, feelings & actions.
  • be able to use the practical skills they have learnt to help support and build their emotional resilience.
  • have increased confidence to self-manage negative thoughts and feelings.
  • be less isolated, through shared experiences.
  • have increased awareness of where and how to ask for help if needed.
